The Renegades couldn't of asked for a better weekend. Playing in the D NIT at Columbus, In. on April 12-13. The tournament consisted of 17 teams both D&E. We played solid both defense and offense with little mistakes. Starting the tournament with only 10 guys do to injuries and work, we but that behind us and jumped of the gate from the first pitch. Staying in the winners bracket earned us a start time of 12:00pm on Sun. With the temperature in the 30's with strong winds and slight ran, it was time to see what we were made of. Once again the Renegades would be out to score first since we were the visiting team the whole tournament. Always having to play the final innings up one to be sure of a win. We did everything right to become NIT Champs for the 2008 season. It feels great to have the berth won before leagues start, but it doesnt mean you wont be seeing the Renegades playing 110%. We are a growing team that only wants to get better as the days come.
